Woman Cheats on Fiancée and Confesses to Her Bestie, Best Friend Refuses to Be Maid of Honor: 'This may be the end of a 12-year friendship'

We all dream of our very own wedding and love story, but sometimes those dreams don't live up to the hype. 'Once a cheater, always a cheater' is an expression for a reason. For this unsuspecting best friend, things took an uncomfortable turn when her bride bestie confided in her... a little too much. Being torn between being a good friend and following your moral compass is a situation you never want to find yourself in.

Why would any bestie put their friend in a situation as dire as this one? Who really is the 'bad friend' here? This should be a no-brainer, and if it isn't, we need to talk, my girl. I think I feel the worst for the unsuspecting fiancée, though. Despite the old saying, 'ignorance is bliss,' can you imagine unknowingly marrying someone who's repeatedly betrayed your trust? It feels like one of my top 10 worst nightmares. Isn't it yours? Things are about to get messy. Whether or not this friendship will survive is uncertain, just like the marriage, but would anyone even want it to? Maybe the best thing left to do is to get out while you still can.
